Corporate Social Responsibility

Wikipedia describes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a form of business self-regulation, internal organizational policy or business strategy. For us at Triad, it’s a simple way to solve society’s problems through creative solutions. We believe in inclusive growth and making the society we live in a harmonious place that cultivates knowledge and provides a platform for sustainable growth.

Over the years, we have been actively involved in several projects focused especially on children’s education and healthcare. We provide financial support for the education of underprivileged children in India in an effort to improve their lives and those of their families. Investing in these kids also help in alleviating socio-economic disparities.

Robotics Summer Camp

We conducted a Robotics Summer Camp at our facility from April 30 - May 11, 2018. Although the camp was open to everyone, including children of employees, the focus was to expose kids of grades 7-11 being supported by our charitable foundation, to Robotics, who otherwise do not have such exposure as part of their curriculum. We had a total of 6 kids enrolled for the camp.

The camp was designed and conducted entirely by employee volunteers. Kids were exposed to fundamental concepts of physics, electrical, mechatronics and CAD in a fun environment. They used CAD tools to generate ideas and create designs. By the end of the camp, the kids, with the help of their mentors, created working models of 4-5 different types of robots. They also had the opportunity to demo their robots in an expo-like setting and field questions from attendees. Certificates of achievement were distributed to all the kids for successful completion of the camp.
